Data that may be processed
Technical hosting logs may include an IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer and browser or device information. If you email SewMatch voluntarily, the message, your address and any information you include are processed. Google Analytics 4 data is processed only after consent.
Purposes and legal bases
Hosting logs are processed on the legitimate interest of operating, securing and protecting the website against abuse. Voluntary emails are processed on the legitimate interest of answering correspondence; a rights request is also processed to meet legal obligations. Google Analytics is based solely on your consent.
Hosting logs and retention
OVHcloud hosts the website and may generate technical and security logs. These logs are kept only for the period strictly necessary for operation, security and abuse prevention under the host’s applicable rules; SewMatch does not extend that technical retention period.
Emails and retention
Voluntary email exchanges are kept for the time needed to handle the request. They are then deleted or, where necessary, archived only for evidence, dispute management or a legal obligation during the applicable limitation or statutory period.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is never contacted or loaded before you accept. Refusing does not limit SewMatch. Advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalisation always remain denied. Your accepted or declined choice and Analytics cookies are capped at 180 days. Accessible Analytics cookies are deleted when you refuse or withdraw consent.
Recipients and international transfers
Data is accessible only to the publisher and providers that need it: OVHcloud for hosting and email, and, only after consent, Google Ireland Limited for Analytics. Analytics may involve processing outside the European Economic Area; Google states that it applies the legal transfer mechanisms and safeguards required for those transfers.
Your rights
Depending on the processing, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority, the CNIL.
Send your privacy request to contact@sewmatch.com.
